Please join us at the Copper Rock Cafe in downtown Appleton this May 14th! This meeting is going to be packed with information! Our guest speaker this month is Tammy Wood, a cannabis activist for the last decade. She own’s a smoke shop where they focus on changing public perception as well as outdated laws. For the last five years Tammy has coordinated the Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festival (our nation’s longest running cannabis legalization event). She is also the Vice-Chair of the Progressive Caucus of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Her talk is sure to spark a lot of good conversations.

We will also have nomination papers available to be signed for many Democrats to help get their names on the ballot. We’ll be joined by several candidates for State Assembly and State Senate, and have information on our upcoming May 20th Bettin’ on Blue fundraiser, updates on office fundraising, and take a look ahead to the efforts needed for the special elections and the general election in November.
