Gerrymandering has been a scourge in Wisconsin politics for years but with a proposed Independent Redistricting Commission we can end it forever.
On May 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Mary Beth Nienhaus Room at the Appleton Public Library you can learn all about it. Former State Representative Penny Bernard Schaber will explain how an IRC would work. Current State Senator Kris Dassler-Alfheim will speak about how the legislature works – or doesn’t – under gerrymandering.
