Exercise your right to vote.
To be eligible to vote you must meet the following:
- Be a US Citizen
- Be 18 years old by election day
- Be registered, by presenting proof of residency
- Show an acceptable photo ID when voting
ALL VOTERS MUST BE REGISTERED
Acceptable proof of residency is required to register.
Check or update your registration information at myvote.wi.gov.
Wisconsin voters can register on election day at the polls but it is recommended to
register at least two weeks ahead of the election, either online or at the clerk’s office.
PREFER TO VOTE BY MAIL
Any Wisconsin voter may request an absentee ballot starting January 1. The request must be made
annually at myvote.wi.gov.
