Today’s Republican party is not what it once was

The Republican party of today is not your grandpa’s party. If you haven’t noticed, the traditional Republican Party is dead, swallowed whole by the extremist MAGA movement. MAGA Republicans are hoping that long-time Republicans don’t notice and will simply vote R, because that’s what they have always done.

Today’s Republican Party no longer stands for limited government, local control, or individual freedom. Instead, MAGA Republicans stand for corporate power, enriching the rich, controlling your fundamental rights, and limiting personal freedoms. The truth is no longer important. High moral standards are irrelevant. It is winning at all costs so they have the power to rule us, not represent us.

In the past, traditional Republicans like Reid Ribble & others represented us well because they lived the Wisconsin values of integrity, honesty, and hard work. The old Republican party worked together with and worked to find soutions. They took their oath to the Constitution seriously. They didn’t stand by when our democracy was being threatened. They did not encourage candidates that supported restricting voting rights and lies about election integrity. .

Today’s MAGA Republicans are not grandpas Republican Party. They have a detailed plan to end our democratic Republic. Check out their authoritarian handbook, “Project 2025”, sponsored by the Heritage Foundation. It will keep you up at night.

Vote with ALL the information about the candidates, not just R or D. Remember your Wisconsin values and vote like your democracy depends on it. Because it does.
