About Mike
Mike Goodwin is a pastor at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Appleton, where he and his wife Kim, an elementary educator, have raised their three children for nearly 15 years. He grew up in southern Minnesota, raised by a single mother alongside five sisters.
A first-time candidate, he entered the race after the July 2026 tornado that tore through the Fox Cities, and is challenging Republican incumbent Ron Tusler in Assembly District 3.
