Bantes and Gehring have integrity for supervisor seats

By Jerry Iverson

I reside in the Town of Grand Chute. I hope you will consider voting for Tim Bantes and Brad Gehring for Town Board Supervisors. These candidates have the experience and integrity to do the important work of directing important services for the town of Grand Chute.

Over the last few years, we have noticed many concerns with the lack of transparency in decision making for the town of Grand Chute. There have been allegations of conflict of interest in decisions and lack of proper notification for board meetings. There have been lawsuits filed against the town and the board. Most of these concerns arise from lack of trust and transparency in how decisions are made, when decisions are made and who benefits from those decisions.

These concerns and lack of transparency have resulted in significant legal expenses for the town. These expenses have resulted in reduced taxpayer funds for safety and emergency services as well as funds for road repair and maintenance. The town has also experienced a dramatic increase in borrowing to pay for operating expenses and town roads. These debts will

need to be paid back by increasing town property taxes in the future.

We can restore the future of Grand Chute by electing Tim Bantes and Brad Gehring as town board supervisors. We can restore confidence and trust in our town board and bring back true transparency to board decision making.
