Some representatives placing party ahead of country

I read your recent article on representative Van Oden concerning our southern border. I challenge his viewpoint as he does not reflect the views of Wisconsinites.

He failed to say a bipartisan agreement was reached to address the border issues, yet has not been brought to the floor by Johnson for a vote because Trump told his MAGA supporters in the Senate not to address border issues even though they claim it’s our contries greatest threat.

Republicans like Van Orden are responsible for the lack of help to fix the border. Ask him why he and his colleagues won’t bring the bill up for a vote. Many of us believe these senator’s place party ahead of our country and its needs.
