Tseffos will bring resident’s concerns to state assembly
By Jerry Iverson
I am writing to ask for your vote for Emily Tseffos in Wisconsin’s Assembly District 56. This District includes Grand Chute, North Appleton, Center, Shiocton, Northwest Outagamie County and East Central Waupaca County (New London area). I learned from talking to Emily that over the last five months she has stopped in most of the homes, businesses and farms in the District. She has talked to representatives of town, village and city boards, met with school board members, volunteer fire department EMTs and local police.
She has listened to the concerns of residents. She has found that people in the district, regardless of political affiliation, have many similar concerns. Concerns that are important to everyday living, including the cost of groceries, being paid a fair wage for work performed, to be free to make decisions for the family, good roads, and to have access to affordable health insurance. They also express support for local schools, special education, preserving our natural resources, and economic development. They want reasonable governmental policies to help farmers succeed.
Emily did note that even though the current representative has been in office for 12 years, many people did not even know his name nor had they met him. It is time for a change.
Emily will effectively represent the residents of Assembly District 56. She knows that not only does a representative work hard during the campaign but they must continue to work hard and listen after being elected.
